New Bike Day!

My 2022 Specialized S-Works Epic Evo Fox/XTR

It’s official, the mountain bike national champion will be at Bear Creek, Pennsylvania. Since this race course is extremely technical I’ll need a full-suspension bike as my S-Works Epic Hardtail won’t be good. My new race bike is a 2022 Specialized S-Works Epic Evo size medium.

The Tech. Specs are:

Cockpit - The saddle is a Body Geometry S-Works with carbon rails. Handle bars are Roval Control SL. My dropper is a Fox Transfer SL.

Wheels - My wheels are Roval Control SL with Roval hubs. I run tubeless Maxxis Aspen tires: 2.4 on front (17 psi), and 2.2 on back (18psi).

Drivetrain - The drivetrain is XTR with 10-52 cassette with 36t chainring.

Suspension - Fox 34 stepcast fork.

Pedals - I use the Garmin Rally Power Pedals so I can track my power across different bikes.

The bike weighs around 23lbs with tools and a spare tube.
